Job description

We are looking for a Lead - US Expansion to coach the team and help us find our Product x Market fit in that new market. It is a cornerstone role to pave our future success in the US market.

The scorecard for the first 12 months on the job is the following:

  • Identify the right Product/Market fit for Assoconnect in the US
  • Find the first 100 paying customers in the US market
  • Secure recurring revenue from US customers and demonstrate a low gross churn rate (<15% annually)

You will have a strong autonomy and be able to organize & prioritize freely in order to find the path to success.

You will be working as a coach of the US team, which is comprised of 4 people (A Business Developer and a Junior Business Developer, Digital Marketing Manager, Content Manager). You will work closely with the Head of Business Operations and the CEO of the company.

Preferred experience

  • Native English speaker.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in fast-paced, ambitious environments on very entrepreneurial topics.
  • Background from Digital Marketing, Growth, Business Development, Sales, Country Launcher/Country Manager.
  • Strong experience in defining Go-To-Market strategies from scratch.
  • You strongly fit with our values: Simplicity, Excellence, Benevolence.
  • You are a do’er and you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty.
  • You are highly energetic, positive and passionate. You know how to lead by example.
  • You are a great team player and passionate about other people. You like sharing your knowledge and helping others grow.
  • Speaking French is a nice plus!
