Director of Sales

Odoo  San Francisco, CA

OpenERP is looking for a Director of Sales for its Direct Sales Division based in San Francisco city, who will play a key role in the continued rapid growth of OpenERP’s business in North-America.

  • Aggressive expansion in North America by delivering assigned sales budget
  • Acquire new clients (SME's) - Business Applications Selling Strategy
  • Recruit top sales talent, secure full staffing and develop stars among current staff
  • Manage a team of functional sales consultants
  • Create a performance-oriented culture which enables OpenERP to become one of the leading B2B sales organizations in North America
  • Ensure focus on key metrics, translate goals into actionable business plans on a strategic and operational level, hold people accountable for assigned responsibilities
  • Align internal resources and ensure successful cooperation between Sales Staff and Operations functions
  • Build lasting, consultative relationships with influencers, stakeholders and decision makers
  • Represent OpenERP versus the industry business community, as well as versus the IOpenERP organization – in North America.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new sales opportunities
  • Establish sales strategies to optimize closing of new sales opportunities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively
  • Ability to handle change management and lean sales processes
  • Experience in selling SaaS/Cloud applications (CRM, HR, Billing, Accounting,etc)
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel occasionnaly

Skills & experience needed

  • Documented very strong track record of leading a fast growing B2B selling sales organization
  • Experience in selling SaaS/Cloud applications (CRM, HR, Billing, Accounting,etc)
  • Global cultural experience – should have worked in different countries or in a multinational corporation or lived or studied abroad
  • Strong negotiator, great with numbers and contracts
  • Personal network at Senior Management level within SME
  • University graduate, preferably with a Business and/or MBA degree
  • 5 years + experience in similar activity with proven track records
  • Willing to travel occasionnaly
