Job description

We are looking for a motivated Developer Advocate who will work closely with Core and Product teams that maintain the PrestaShop open source project.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Help make PrestaShop the best e-commerce solution for developers.

Your responsibilities:-Help the engineering teams create the best possible developer experience by capturing developer feedback, needs and pains.-Help keep the community updated on the roadmap, releases and tech features.-Leverage PrestaShop’s existing developer community around the world to increase contribution to the open source project.-Contribute to PrestaShop’s documentation, tutorials, and other education efforts.-Speak at conferences and in other forums to reach PrestaShop developers.-Ideally, present technical sessions at conferences & online events, run workshops and hands-on hackathons, share & promote best practices.

Preferred experience

Your profile:-You feel comfortable writing and speaking in English.-You have a technical background (at least 3 years in coding) and you understand developers’ needs.-You have at least some coding experience with PHP, JS and web technologies.-You have experience in blogging, technical documentation, and developer outreach.-You have been a speaker in front of technical audiences, and you thought it was awesome.-You love open source!-Ideally, you speak French, Spanish or Italian.
