  • Work with CEO on branding

  • First PR drafts

Stunt double internally

  • Answer to all sollicitations - so that the CEO focuses on high value interactions.
  • Help teams formalize their needs & solutions before discussing it with CEO
  • Ensure that vision clearly shared & understood

Recruitment

  • Handle all first interviews
  • Help write scorecards

Miscellaneous

  • Market research

  • Help on all organizational matters
  • Challenge CEO on anything he could delegate

Skills

Preliminary clarifications

  • A CoS is not an Executive Assistant.
  • A CoS does not manage anyone.
  • A CoS helps all main execs by transitivity - Ex: prepare a presentation for a key partnership
  • Rotational: role handled for 18 months

Note : if the person has a consulting background, we assume that she has the technical skills (double check during the ref calls).
