The Leadership Team provides [Company] with the vision, the drive, and the direction to amplify its rapid growth and development into a major Insurance & home services european Leader.

As we scale our team to support the growing product offering and internationalisation we’re on the hunt for a talented Chief of Staff, working directly with the CEO, to support the management team in their efforts to delivery against our strategic plans, to develop the framework to manage our complex planning and prioritisation processes, and to be a force multiplier for the CEO’s strategic focus. You will be actively driving the company’s most critical projects, strategic initiatives and operational rhythm of the business, while supporting the organisation scale from 80 employees to 250 and beyond.

You’re mission : maximise qualitative output of the leadership team and help building CEO’s priorities.

A chief of staff role is not a role like any other. It’s a behind the scene critical role, with limited direct ownership but a 360° view on the business and high impact on the organisation. We are in need of a highly-organised and detail-oriented, low ego high achiever who can help hold the organisation to account whilst building solid and authentic relationships with the team. By helping to guide and focus our executive team, you allow [Company] to continue to scale effectively and at pace.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO to drive [Company]'s strategic priorities, managing planning processes and cross-functional governance structure to ensure focus and execution of objectives
  • Oversee large cross-functional projects, aligning processes, helping stakeholders to drive decisions, reducing complexity and unlocking impact from our resources.
  • Support the Exec Team in developing the longer-term business strategy and board-related activities, acting as advisor and counsel to the CEO & Exec Team.
  • Managing & document the meeting cadence for the Exec Team and the Boards, building effective governance structures, reporting frameworks and preparing Board materials.
  • Planning annual all-company strategy sessions, smaller steering group sessions and Exec team away days focused on longer-term planning and decision making.
  • Assuming day-to-day responsibilities on projects and tasks, including management of business changes and leading on strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Monitor information flow, at times acting as gatekeeper for CEO’s involvement in a project or decision-making process at the right moment.
  • Support the CEO in internal and external communication.
  • Ensure interim leadership in certain areas of the business and identify future leaders

Preferred experience

Who are You?

  • Experience in a fast growing tech company with broad cross-functional responsibilities covering strategy, corporate development, product, and operations
  • You have previous experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking or private equity
  • Excellent communicant & relationship builder able to be loved by the team across departments and resolve conflicts
  • You have very strong problem solving and analytical skills: proven ability to break problems down into components and propose elegant solutions
  • Passion for the [Company] mission with an entrepreneurial streak and a willingness to muck-in and pick up whatever task to get the job done is essential
  • Discrete, results-driven and a humble approach is essential.
